The instructions are straightforward, the parts are labeled and the hardware come in a strip of pouches with each type labele. While the tools needed to assemble are included, I recommend a drill with a Phillip's head bit and a hex bit, but use cautiously to not over tighten. After all put together, then tighten all screws. The adjustable feet make it easy to level. (Always level your tank!)
